Brief Coverage Schedule
The Company shall pay the benefit for the reasonable and necessary expenses that occur from medical treatment performed based on medical necessity and medical standard according to actual expense amount after deducting the deductible (if any) responsible by the insured, but not exceeding the benefits as stated in the coverage schedule.
Inpatient benefits (IPD)
Daily room, board, and nursing service fees (not exceeding standard room fee), up to 180 days per hospitalization

Coverage Area (Thailand)
Any hospitalization means a stay in a hospital as an inpatient for medical treatment, including two or more stays in a hospital due to the same cause or disease or complications of the same disease, where the gap between each hospitalization shall not exceed 90 days from the last discharge date, and the treatments shall be considered as the same hospitalization.
The actual expense means the remaining expenses after deductions of social welfare or other welfare and/or other insurance policies bought from any company.
For example, this rider shall not cover medical expenses or damages from injuries or illnesses (including its complications), conditions, or abnormality arising from any of the following causes.
1. Chronic disease, illness or injury that has not been cured prior to the insurance contract formation date, treatment for congenital disorder, or pervasive developmental disorder or genetic disorder
2. Cosmetic surgery or treatment or any other treatments for skin beauty purposes, pimple, blemish, and freckle treatments, dandruff and hair fall treatment, or weight control, or elective surgeries, except for reconstructive surgery required due to an accident under the coverage, etc.
(a) This will not cover any illness which incurs within 30 days from the effective date or the latest date of renewal of the rider, whichever is the latest.
(b) This will not cover any illness due to the following diseases or abnormality (including its complications) which incurs within 120 days from the effective date or the latest date of renewal of the rider, whichever is the latest.
1. Tumors, cysts, or all types of cancer
3. All types of hernia
4. Pterygium or cataract
5. Tonsillectomy or adenoidectomy
6. All types of stone
7. Varicose vein
Q: What is the insurable age and when does the coverage end?
A: Entry age is 30 days to 10 years old. The coverage is provided until the age of 99.
Q: Does D Kids Campaign need to be attached to a base life insurance policy?
A: D Kids Campaign is a marketing name of D Health Rider; it must be attached to a base life insurance policy.
Q: After I buy it, will it be effective immediately?
A: Illnesses must occur 30 days after the effective date of this rider. However, the following diseases will be covered if they occur 120 days after reinstatement or the effective date of this rider.

Q: Does premium of D Kids Campaign increase based on the increasing age range?
A: Yes, it is based on the increasing age range of the insured.
Q: Does D KIds Campaign cover the daily benefit of room, board and nursing service fee in case of hospitalization in Intensive Care Unit (ICU)?
A: Yes, it provides lump sum coverage based on actual expense and up to 60 days. Combined with the daily benefit of room, board and nursing service fees, total benefit will be paid for up to a maximum of 180 days.
Q: What is deductible?
A: It is the amount of expenses paid by the insured, other welfare or other policies (if any). D Kids Campaign will cover the amount exceeding the deductible amount. The limit is in accordance with the chosen plan.
Q: Do all plans of D Kids Campaign have deductible options?
A: Every plan of D Kids Campaign includes deductible options. In this regard, the limit is in accordance with the chosen plan.
Q: What is the coverage area of D Kids Campaign?
A: Coverage area is only in Thailand, except cases of injury due to an accident or illness that needs an emergency treatment whereby the first hospitalization date must be within 90 days after traveling outside the coverage area each time.
Q: Is health checkup required when applying for D Kids Campaign?
A: It is subject to the Company’s rules.
Q: Is the premium of this rider eligible for tax deduction?
A: Yes, it is eligible for personal income tax deduction according to the Notification of the Director-General of the Revenue Department on Income Tax No. 383.
