The customers who have effective insurance policies as specified by the Company will be entitled to coverage according to their insurance plan.

The coverage is effective from 11 May - 31 December 2021 (at 24.00 hrs.)

Term and Condition

For the customers who have health riders or outpatient treatment endorsement or group health rider or endorsement of group health rider with Muang Thai Life Assurance PCL with the following additional conditions:

- Extra coverage will be provided for the customers of Muang Thai Life Assurance PCL who have health rider or outpatient treatment endorsement or group health rider or endorsement of group health rider which is still effective only. 

- Health riders of Muang Thai Life Assurance PCL include Elite Health Rider, D Health Rider, Extra Care Health Rider, Smart Health Rider, Diamond Care Health Rider, Hospital & Surgical Benefit Health Rider (H&S), Hospital & Surgical Benefit Health VIP Rider, Lump Sum Health Rider, Premium Health Care Rider, Outpatient Treatment Rider (OPD), Hospital Daily Benefit Health Rider (HB), Government Officer Happy Health Rider, Juvenile Health Rider (0-5 years old), Surgical Benefit Protection Rider, Takaful Hospital & Surgical Benefit Health Rider, Takaful Hospital Daily Benefit Health Rider, Group Health Rider, etc.

- The coverage period is from 11 May 2021 or the contract effective date (after the waiting period of health riders.), whichever comes later. The coverage shall be effective as long as the contract is in force or until 31 December 2021 (at 24.00 hrs.), whichever comes first.

-The Company shall not pay benefit in case the insured receives medical treatment due to effects after Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccination from 31 December 2021 (at 24.00 hrs.) onwards.

- The company shall not pay benefit in case the insured had an illness due to side effects after Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccination before 11 May 2021 or before the effective date of  health rider or outpatient treatment endorsement or group health rider or endorsement of group health rider. It is subject to the pre-existing conditions.

- The company shall not pay benefit in case the insured had an illness due to side effects after Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccination during the waiting period of health rider or outpatient treatment endorsement or group health rider or endorsement of group health rider.

- The Company shall pay the extra benefit according to the actual expenses but not exceeding the benefit stated in your insurance policy. The Company shall pay the benefit only after receiving the valid evidence of an illness.

- Conditions are as specified by the Company.

- The campaign period is from 11 May 2021 – 31 December 2021 (at 24.00 hrs.).

2. What is the coverage I will receive?
- If you have effects after Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccination, you will receive coverage for medical expenses as stated in the policy you are holding.

Definition
Effects After Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) Vaccination means side effects or hypersensitivity reactions that occur to the insured due to Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccination.

3. How long is the coverage period?
- Details of coverage effective date are as follows:
  • New customers who purchased a policy and the Company agreed to provide coverage from 11 May 2021: The coverage will become effective after the waiting period of the policy you are holding. The coverage will be effective as long as the policy is in force or until 31 December 2021 (Whichever comes first.).
  • Existing customers who purchased a policy and the Company agreed to provide coverage before 11 May 2021 : The campaign has the waiting period;
    - If you purchased the policy before 12 April 2021, you will immediately receive the coverage from 11 May 2021 as it already exceeded the waiting period of the policy.
    - If you purchased the policy from 12 April 2021 to 10 May 2021, you will receive the coverage after the waiting period as stated in the policy you are holding.
The coverage will be effective as long as the contract is in force or until 31 December 2021, whichever comes first.

4. What are eligible products for this campaign?
- Health riders of Muang Thai Life Assurance PCL include Elite Health Rider, D Health Rider, Extra Care Health Rider, Smart Health Rider, Diamond Care Health Rider, Hospital & Surgical Benefit Health Rider (H&S), Hospital & Surgical Benefit Health VIP Rider, Lump Sum Health Rider, Premium Health Care Rider, Outpatient Treatment Rider (OPD), Hospital Daily Benefit Health Rider (HB), Government Officer Happy Health Rider, Juvenile Health Rider (0-5 years old), Surgical Benefit Protection Rider, Takaful Hospital & Surgical Benefit Health Rider, Takaful Hospital Daily Benefit Health Rider, Group Health Rider, etc.

However, coverage exclusions of effects after Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccination have not been stated in Hospital Daily Benefit Health Rider (HB) and Juvenile Health Rider (0-5 years old). Therefore, the insured with Hospital Daily Benefit Health Rider (HB) and Juvenile Health Rider (0-5 years old) will be entitled to coverage of effects after Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccination throughout the contract period.

5. Is there the waiting period?
- Yes, there is. The waiting period varies based on each insurance plan. It is stated in the general provisions of the contract.

6. Am I entitled to this coverage if I was diagnosed by a physician with effects after Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccination before 11 May 2021?
- No, you are not. According to the policy coverage terms, pre-existing conditions shall be excluded.

7. Am I entitled to this coverage if I have been diagnosed with Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) by a physician, but have been cured?
- Yes, you are. This coverage is provided for effects after Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccination.

8. How can I make a claim request?
