Life Protection

Life insurance premium is entitled to tax deduction of up to 300,000 Baht per year.

• Premium of life insurance with at least 10-year coverage period is entitled to tax deduction of up to 100,000 Baht per year (including health insurance premium of up to 25,000 Baht).
• Premium of annuity life insurance is entitled to tax deduction of up to 200,000 Baht.

Term insurance has coverage periods of 1, 5, 10, 15 years. The Company shall pay sum insured once the insured passes away only. Premium is low, but with high life coverage.
However, if you want lump sum amount upon contract maturity, Muang Thai Smile Saver 20/16 is a good one. You will receive maturity benefit of up to 120%* and life coverage of 120%* as well.

*is in % of the initial sum insured.

There are many insurance plans giving cash bonus during the contract. For example, Muang Thai Happy Return 99/7 gives annual cash bonus at 1% from the end of policy year 1 - attaining the age of 98. It also pays 100% maturity benefit once attaining the age of 99 which the insured pays premium only 7 years.

The Company shall pay surrender value amount as stated in the policy value schedule in a policy book in which the amount might be higher or less than total paid premium.
