- Muang Thai 101 Plus Campaign is a marketing name of Muang Thai Smart Linked Plus 10/1 (Global) insurance plan.
- Index refers to Citi Global Multi Asset USD VT5 Series 3 Index. For more information, please visit https://investmentstrategies.citi.com/indice/CIXBFU35/12/2
- Since Citi Global Multi Asset USD VT5 Series 3 Index is calculated in USD, index performance between the initial valuation date and final valuation date will be translated from USD to THB based on the exchange rate that Muang Thai Life Assurance Public Company Limited transacts on those days The exchange rate for payment transaction of this policy is based on subscription and/or redemption rate, whichever the case may be, upon date and time executed by the Company. The Company selects the best rate among 3 banks i.e. Kasikornbank PCL, Siam Commercial Bank PCL and Krungthai Bank PCL. The Company might consider changing to other banks if they offer better exchange rate
- The date of policy issuance means the date when the Company approves the insurance
- Index level at initial valuation date is the index level of the first date of investment (calculated within 45 days after the insurance policy).
- Exchange rate at Initial Valuation Date is Exchange rate at investment Valuation Date (calculated within 45 days after the insurance policy)
- Participation rate (PR) is a pre-determined rate that investor will receive from any positive return from the underlying performance between initial valuation date and final valuation rate. The participation rate may vary by market environment at policy inception

- Muang Thai Life Assurance Public Company Limited will invest according to the index within 45 days after the insurance policy issued and will calculate the index performance within 45 days prior to insurance policy maturity
- In case final valuation date falls on a Public holiday according to notification, it shall be postponed to the next business day
- Actual dividend at maturity may differ from the indicative dividend
- Return of the index is calculated in USD, thus dividend at maturity is exposed to exchange rate volatility. However, policyholder still receive maturity benefit as stated in policy conditions because maturity benefit is not exposed to exchange rate risk
- Dividend calculated based on Global Multi Asset USD VT 5 Series 3 Index contains risks including
1. Fluctuation of the index level risk (market risk) - Thus, the Company does not guarantee maturity dividend, and
2. Foreign exchange risk – The index is in USD currency. Thus, a risk on exchange rate volatility of THB currency and USD currency may exist.
However, the policyholder will still receive full amount of conditional cash bonus once reaching contract maturity as the conditional cash bonus has no market risk or foreign exchange risk.
- Upon the occurrence of a cancellation of Citi Global Multi Asset USD VT5 Series 3 Index, Muang Thai Life Assurance Public Company Limited reserve the right to determine an appropriate replacement index. If Muang Thai Life Assurance Public Company Limited is unable to replace the Index, cancellation and payment will be applied
