A: CI Perfect Care Rider covers 36 critical illnesses from early stage. Coverage details are as follows:
1. Life coverage of 100% of sum insured amount
2. Coverage details in case the insured is diagnosed with any of the 36 critical illnesses are shown below.
2.1 Early stage – coverage of 25% of sum insured amount
2.2 Intermediate stage** - coverage of 50% of sum insured amount
2.3 Late stage* - coverage of 100% of sum insured amount
3. For coronary angioplasty, the coverage is 10% of sum insured amount***.
4. In case the insured is diagnosed with diabetic complications, the coverage is 10% of sum insured amount***.
In this regard, the Company shall pay benefits under the coverage items 1 and/or 2 of up to 100% of the sum insured amount in total throughout the insurance contract according to this rider, and this rider shall end.

Exclusions of the rider CI Perfect Care are as follows:
1. This rider shall not cover death directly or indirectly, wholly or partly, caused by the following events:
1.1 The insured voluntarily commits suicide within one year from the effective date, the latest date of reinstatement, or the date that the Company approves to increase the sum insured amount, whichever is the latest. However, this shall apply to the increasing sum insured amount only. The Company shall be held liable to return all premium recieved from the effective date or the latest date of reinstatement of this rider, or the date that the Company approves to increase the sum insured amount, whichever is the latest.
1.2 The insured passes away due to the illness that the insured had before the date that the Company approves the insurance, the latest date of reinstatement of the rider, or the date that the Company approves to increase the sum insured amount, whichever is the latest.
2. This rider shall not cover critical illnesses except permanent disability directly or indirectly, wholly or partly, caused by the following events:
2.1 In case of abnormalities confirmed by a physician and clearly proven to be related with the critical illnesses or the critical illnesses existing before the effective date of this rider, the date of reinstatement, or the date that the Company approves to increase the sum insured amount, the Company shall not cover the increasing sum insured amount only, unless the insured makes declaration for the Company’s acknowledgment and the Company accepts such risk without conditions to exclude such coverage.
2.2 Suicide, or self-inflicted injury or self-inflicted attempt
3. This rider shall not cover critical illnesses in case of permanent disability caused by the following events:
3.1 Suicide, suicide attempts, or self-inflicted attempts
3.2 Any injury arising while the insured is committing a felony or being arrested or escaping from such arrest
This rider does not cover any critical illnesses or abnormalities confirmed by a physician and clearly proven to be related with the critical illnesses under this rider occurring within 90 days from the effective date of this rider, the latest date of reinstatement, or the date that the Company approves to increase the sum insured amount of this rider, whichever is the latest. In this regard, in case the Company approves to increase the sum insured amount, the Company shall not cover the increasing sum insured amount only.
