November 28, 2025

Muang Thai Life Assurance and the Muang Thai Yim Foundation invited executives and employee volunteers to assemble over 5,000 relief kits and essential items. These supplies are being delivered to provide aid and encouragement to those affected by flooding in the Central and Southern regions, reflecting the MTL’s commitment to being a supportive force for Thai society during times of crisis.
Mr. Sara Lamsam, Chief Executive Officer of Muang Thai Life Assurance PCL, stated: “MTL is deeply aware of how the flooding has impacted the lives and well-being of so many people. Muang Thai Life and the Muang Thai Yim Foundation are dedicated to playing our part in providing relief and easing this burden. Mobilizing our volunteers to prepare these relief kits is a symbol of the care we want to extend to our fellow citizens. We are ready to stand by Thai society and provide assistance whenever it is needed most.”
In the Central region, Muang Thai Life has already begun distributing relief kits and essential items. To ensure that assistance reaches those in distress effectively and accurately, a portion of these supplies was channeled through the government sector. This strategic coordination allows for rapid, comprehensive, and widespread distribution to those in need. The relief kits were officially delivered to Mr. Akara Prompow, Minister of Social Development and Human Security (MSDHS), to be further distributed to:
• Watsanawet Social Welfare Development Center for Older Persons, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province.
• The Provincial Offices of Social Development and Human Security in flood-affected provinces, including Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Sing Buri, Ang Thong, Chai Nat, and Uthai Thani.
At the same time, Muang Thai Life Assurance and the Muang Thai Yim Foundation plan to visit Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Sing Buri, Ang Thong, Chai Nat, and Uthai Thani provinces to deliver relief supply kits and encouragement to residents affected by flooding. The teams will engage with local communities, listen to their concerns, and offer support so that everyone feels they are not facing this hardship alone, but have people standing by their side to help and support them during this difficult time.
In addition, in response to the flooding situation in the southern region, Muang Thai Life Assurance and the Muang Thai Yim Foundation have also delivered relief supplies to affected areas. Initial assistance has been urgently dispatched to Hat Yai District, Songkhla Province, which is currently experiencing severe flooding. The support aims to alleviate immediate hardship and provide encouragement to both affected residents and frontline personnel, helping everyone get through this challenging period safely and as quickly as possible. Assistance to other affected provinces will continue to be delivered as swiftly as possible.
The delivery was conducted through the Vayupak Network Flood Relief Command Center of the Ministry of Finance. The contribution was officially received by Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior; Dr. Ekniti Nitithanprapas, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance; Mr. Lavaron Sangsnit, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Finance; Mr. Chuchatr Pramoolpol, Secretary-General of the Office of Insurance Commission (OIC); and Ms. Wasumadee Vaseenon, Deputy Secretary-General for Intermediary Supervision and Regional Insurance of the Office of Insurance Commission (OIC). The handover ceremony took place at the 150th Anniversary Building, Ministry of Finance.
In addition, volunteers from Muang Thai Life Assurance also went into affected areas to personally distribute relief supply kits to communities in need, working in close coordination with local authorities to ensure targeted and effective assistance for those impacted by the flooding.
These efforts reflect the strong commitment of Muang Thai Life Assurance and the Muang Thai Yim Foundation to fulfilling their role as a responsible member of society—standing by communities with compassion, understanding, and a genuine willingness to take action. Through these initiatives, the organizations aim to help communities overcome this crisis with resilience and strength.
