Q: What is Fit Point? (also referred to as the "Wellness Program" as stated in the policy endorsement)
A: Fit Point is a health promotion initiative by Muang Thai Life Assurance Public Company Limited for policyholders. It is accessible via the Fit Point feature on the MTL Click application. The program offers a discount on insurance premiums for members based on the level of health upkeep specified by Fit Point.

Q: What are the eligibility criteria to join the Fit Point?
A:
1)  Must be 18 years old or above
2) Must be a policyholder of one of the insurance products under the Fit Point (30 specified plans) & The total annual premium across all participating products must be no less than 2,000 Baht.
3) Fit Point Member on Application MTL Click

Q: Which products are included in the Fit Rewards?
A: The products included in the Fit Rewards are insurance products that the policyholder currently owns and pays premiums for with Muang Thai Life Assurance (ordinary plans). These products must not be subject to premium increases based on claims experience and do not include Investment-Linked Policies (ILPs), as per the Registrar’s orders relating to the new health standards.

Q: What are the benefits of the Fit Point?
A: The benefits of the Fit Point vary depending on the user’s status within the Fit Point feature. There are three user statuses:
1. Health User: A member who holds an active health or critical illness insurance policy that is part of the Fit Point, and meets other eligibility criteria.

- Earn Fit Points to redeem for a renewal year premium discount of up to 15%, capped at 7,500 Baht per policy year.

- Receive a Fit Point multiplier to accumulate points faster (up to 25x multiplier) 

2. Insurance User: A member who holds an active insurance policy with Muang Thai Life Assurance, but the policy is not part of the Fit Point. 

3. Guest User: A member who does not hold any policy with Muang Thai Life Assurance

- Guest Users can access the Fit Point feature for 180 days after registration. To continue using the feature beyond this period, they must purchase a policy from Muang Thai Life Assurance. Depending on the policy, their status will be upgraded to either Insurance User or Health User. 

Q: If I link a policy that is not part of the Fit Point, what will my status be?
A: You will be assigned the status of Insurance User and can still participate in activities such as step tracking and workout time logging on the Fit Point feature to earn Fit Points.

Q: If I later purchase an eligible policy or meet all eligibility requirements, how will my status change?
A: Your status will be upgraded from Insurance User to Health User after you accept the Fit Point terms and conditions.

Q: How is the value of Fit Points in the Fit Point converted into discount (in Baht)?
A: 20 Fit Points under the Fit Rewards are equivalent to 1 Baht in discount.

Q: What is the maximum total annual discount a member can receive per policy year?
A: For Health Users, the maximum discount per policy year is as follows:

Year 1: Up to 10%, capped at 5,000 Baht
Year 2: Up to 11%, capped at 5,500 Baht
Year 3: Up to 12%, capped at 6,000 Baht
Year 4: Up to 13%, capped at 6,500 Baht
Year 5: Up to 14%, capped at 7,000 Baht
Year 6 and beyond: Up to 15%, capped at 7,500 Baht

Remark: The maximum discount per policy year is 7,500 Baht.


Q: How is membership year in the Fit Point (Health User status year) calculated?
A: It is calculated from the most recent date you met all the eligibility criteria. (If at any point you fail to meet a required condition, the count resets when all qualifications are met again.)

Q: If some participating products are canceled but my status remains as Health User, will the Fit Points I’ve earned be affected?
A: No, your accumulated Fit Points will not be affected, and you will still be eligible for premium discounts on the remaining participating products.

Q: Can the multiplier change?
A: Yes, your multiplier may change depending on whether your premium increases or decreases, as follows:

• Multiplier increases: This may occur if your total premiums for eligible policies increase, either through the purchase of additional participating policies, age-based premium adjustments, or other processes that result in higher premiums for participating products.
• Multiplier decreases: This may occur if your total premiums for participating products decrease due to any campaign discounts or other processes that reduce the premium amount of eligible products.

Q: How are Fit Points earned from each activity?
A: Fit Points can be earned through participation in activities available within the Fit Point feature ,such as uploading health check-up results, step tracking, exercise minute logging, and other activities.
You can start participating in these activities to earn Fit Points now. Only Health Users can redeem Fit Points for premium discounts at the conversion rate of 20 Fit Points = 1 Baht.

Using Fit Points for Insurance Premium Discounts

Q: Until what date can Fit Points be accumulated each year to be converted into a premium discount?
A: Health user can accumulate Fit Point until the Cut-off date or 32 days before policy anniversary date, which the system will automatically summarize your discount. 


Q: Will policies that do not include in the Fit Rewards participating products be eligible for a discount?
A: No, they will not receive a discount because such policies do not meet the requirements of the Fit Point

Q: How can I check my approximated premium discount before a cut-off date?
A: Your approximated premium discount is shown in Fit Point feature in MTL Click application under the Benefits tab.

Q: Can I choose which policy to receives the discount and how many Fit Points to use?
A: No, members cannot select the policy or the number of Fit Points to use. All policies containing eligible products under the Fit Point are considered entitled to the discount.


Q: How can I check the premium discount I have already received?
A: You can view previously applied premium discounts through the Fit Point feature on the MTL Click application via the ‘Fit Point History’ menu.  

Q: Once the premium discount for eligible products has been finalized, can it be changed during the policy year?
A: No, it cannot be changed. The premium discount is finalized once per policy year and will be recalculated in the following policy year.


After the Cut-off Date

Q: What happens to the discount if a participating product is canceled after the cut-off date during the policy year?
A: If a product that previously received a discount is canceled or terminated after the cut-off date, the discount for that product will be terminated as well.

Q: If the policy lapses for a period after the cut-off date during the policy year but is reinstated within the same policy year, will the discount still apply? 
A: If the policy is reinstated within the same policy year, any riders that previously received a discount will continue to receive the same discount. If the reinstatement occurs after the original policy year ends, no discount will apply. 

Q: If I add a new rider that is part of the Fit Point after the cut-off date, will that rider receive a discount?
A: Any new riders added after the cut-off date will receive a premium discount in next anniversary date.

Q: If the payment mode of a discounted product is changed after the cut-off date during the policy year, what happens to the discount?
A: The discount for the product will remain the same in percentage (%) as it was before the change in payment mode.


Q: Do unused Fit Points expire?
A: Yes. Fit Points expire at the end of each quarter (31 March, 30 June, 30 September, 31 December) after 12 months from the date they were earned.

Q: Can I exchange or transfer my Fit Points to another policyholder?
A: No, Fit Points cannot be exchanged or transferred to another person.

Q: If I was an existing MTL Fit application user, do I need to reconnect my step/exercise tracking device after registering for the Fit Point feature on the MTL Click Application?
A: Yes, once you’ve registered for the Fit Point feature, you must reconnect your tracking device. The following devices are compatible with the Fit Point feature on the MTL Click Application:

• If you do use a Smart Watch and Smart Ring: Apple Watch, Fitbit, Garmin, Suunto, Samsung Watch, Samsung Ring and Ultra Human Ring is available to connect.
  
  
• If you don’t use a smartwatch:
  • For iOS = Apple health
  • For Android = Samsung Health and Health Connect*

*If you are connecting via Health Connect, follow these steps:
1. Download Health Connect from the Google Play Store.
2. Download a step-tracking application supported by MTL Click, such as Samsung Health or Nike Run Club.
3. Open Health Connect and go to the “App permissions” menu.
4. Select the step-tracking app you want to use and grant Health Connect permission to access its data.
5. Tap “Allow” to enable access for the Health Connect app.
6. Once access is granted, the selected app will appear under the “Allowed apps” list.
7. When you connect Health Connect with Fit Point, the MTL Click app will also appear in the “Allowed apps” list.

Q: How can the insurance premiums that receive a discount from the Fit Point be used for tax deduction purposes?
A: Only the insurance premiums after the Fit Point discount can be submitted for tax deduction purposes. The conditions for tax deduction are in accordance with the Revenue Department’s announcements.

Q: If there are any changes to the Fit Rewards participation, point accumulation details, or Fit Point termination (if applicable), how will I be notified?
A: Any changes will be communicated through the Fit Point feature on the MTL Click application, or via email that members used for registration and have given consent to receive updates.  

Q: Will the health data under the Fit Rewards affect my insurance underwriting with Muang Thai Life Assurance?
A: Underwriters at Muang Thai Life Assurance may request to use the health data from the Fit Point during the underwriting process. This is subjected to the terms and conditions of Fit Point (Wellness Program) and the Company’s Privacy Policy.

Q: If I already hold a policy with special discounts (e.g., employee benefit programs), will I still get the Fit Point discount?
A:  Yes. The renewal discount from Fit Point will be an additional discount on top of any existing discounts you already receive.

Q: How can I report issues or give feedback about the Fit Point or its usage?

Q: What are the conditions for retrieving past exercise data between April 18 – May 1, 2025?
A: To retrieve past exercise data, users must complete the following steps:
Register for the Fit Point feature on the MTL Click app and connect a compatible device between the date the feature becomes available and May 10, 2025.

The system will retrieve past exercise data starting from April 18, 2025, for:

• Users with a smartwatch such as Apple Watch or Fitbit
• Users without a smartwatch, but who connect via Apple Health or Health Connect

For Garmin users, due to technical limitations, the system can retrieve past exercise data for up to 14 days from the date the device is connected to the Fit Point feature on the MTL Click app.

Conditions for retrieving past exercise data for MTL Fit Users during the app downtime:
To be eligible:

1. The phone number registered on MTL Click must match the phone number used for MTL Fit registration.
2. The MTL Fit user must have already connected a device to the MTL Fit app before the app was suspended.
3. Exercise data can be retrieved during the downtime only for:
   1. 3.1 Users who connected via Garmin, Apple Watch, or Fitbit
   2. 3.2 Users who connected via Apple Health or Health Connect
   Remark: *Due to the deactivation of the Google Fit API, the MTL Click app can no longer retrieve data from the Google Fit app.
   Android users can connect through Health Connect on the MTL Click app.
   Please ensure that Health Connect is linked to Google Fit on your device to allow data transfer.
4. If you change your smartwatch during the app downtime, the system will not be able to retrieve your past data from the period when the app was inactive
