A new chapter of honor and pride in history — Muang Thai Life Assurance received the “Hall of Fame Company Award” for the fifth consecutive year, along with the “Micro Insurance Award”. These achievements reflect MTL’s commitment to sustainability in all dimensions, with outstanding performance in management excellence, innovation, insurance accessibility, and ESG policy implementation.
Muang Thai Life Assurance has written a new chapter of history, honor, and greatest pride by receiving the “Hall of Fame Award,” the highest accolade in the insurance industry, for the fifth consecutive year from the Office of Insurance Commission (OIC). This achievement reaffirms MTL’s all-round excellence—its management focused on creating sustainability for all stakeholders, its innovation, and its genuine emphasis on ESG practices. In addition, MTL has also received the “Micro Insurance Award” for the twelfth consecutive year, reflecting its commitment to supporting and promoting insurance accessibility for all groups of people. These prestigious awards were presented at the Prime Minister’s Insurance Awards 2025.
บMuang Thai Life Assurance Public Company Limited, led by Mr. Sara Lamsam, Chief Executive Officer, proudly made history with the highest honor by receiving two prestigious awards for 2024: the “Hall of Fame Award” for the fifth consecutive year, which is the highest recognition in the insurance industry and the only company to have received it, and the “Micro Insurance Award” for the twelfth consecutive year. The awards were presented at the Prime Minister’s Insurance Awards 2025, held under the theme “INSURENEXT Driving the Future of Insurance with Digital Innovation & Sustainability,” hosted by the Office of Insurance Commission (OIC), with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Mr. Pichai Chunhavajira as the award presenter, and OIC Secretary-General Mr. Chuchatr Pramoolpol extending his congratulations. The event took place in the Bangkok Convention Centre A1 Room at the Centara Grand and Bangkok Convention Centre at CentralWorld.
The "Hall of Fame Award” for 2024 marks the 5th consecutive year that Muang Thai Life Assurance has received this honor. MTL has also maintained the status as the Outstanding Life Insurance with Outstanding Management 1st Place Award for 19 consecutive years. This recognition is a true source of pride and confidence, as it represents the highest honor in the insurance industry, granted by the Office of Insurance Commission (OIC) to companies with outstanding management performance and all-round strength. Muang Thai Life Assurance remains the only company to have received this award since the award’s inception. The achievement reflects MTL’s excellence in every dimension of management, driven by a strong commitment to meeting the genuine needs of customers through a customer-centric approach. This includes the continuous development of life insurance and health protection products, a wide range of services and distribution channels, innovative solutions, modern technology, and ongoing employee development.

Furthermore, MTL places great importance on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), focusing on 13 key goals that align with MTL’s material sustainability issues.
For the “Micro Insurance Award 2024,” Muang Thai Life Assurance has received the honor for the twelfth consecutive year, stemming from its commitment to actively promoting micro insurance for the people. This includes the development of micro insurance products, encouraging and supporting wider adoption, expanding distribution channels, promoting public awareness activities, and enhancing customer service efficiency in relation to micro insurance policies. MTL has also worked in collaboration with a wide range of business partners to continuously expand channels and create greater opportunities for people to access insurance. All these efforts reflect MTL’s strong commitment to democratizing insurance, enabling everyone in society to enjoy peace of mind, secure protection, and a sustainable quality of life.
On this occasion, MTL’s agents also received the “Outstanding Life Insurance Agent Award for the year 2024”, namely Ms. Nathamol Upthongthitikul, Ms. Natnicha Thapthong, Ms. Suwan Tharapoom, and Ms. Wiranya Misiri —top-performing agents recognized for their excellence in sales performance, training participation, and active involvement in activities fully meeting the conditions set by the OIC. They have also strictly adhered to the professional code of ethics, as well as the laws, regulations, and requirements of the OIC. This achievement represents another source of pride for MTL, reflecting its outstanding commitment to developing quality agents who serve as trusted life insurance advisors, ready to care for and stand by customers through every stage of life.
Mr. Sara Lamsam, Chief Executive Officer of Muang Thai Life Assurance Public Company Limited, received the award from Mr. Pongpol Yodmuangcharoen, Secretary to the Minister of Industry, and Dr. Fong Chan Onn, Chairman of Enterprise Asia, at The Athenee Hotel, Bangkok, with Muang Thai Life Assurance’s executives also attending the ceremony.
