MTL wins Four Major Awards from the SEC

Muang Thai Life Assurance Public Company Limited has received four prestigious awards from the project “Thai Capital Market Joining Forces to Empower Financial Knowledge – Phase 2, 2025”, organized by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The achievement highlights MTL’s strong commitment to advancing financial, insurance, and investment literacy among the Thai public in a tangible and sustainable manner, in line with ESG principles and social responsibility aimed at strengthening long-term financial resilience.

This success was driven by the outstanding performance of Muang Thai Academy, which excelled in content quality, communication approach, and measurable impact. As a result, MTL received the following awards: Public Favorite Award, Sustainability Award, Creativity Awards, and the Financial Empowerment Award.

Muang Thai Life Assurance’s initiatives generated more than 23 million engagements with financial education content, surpassing the 10-million engagement threshold required for the Public Favorite Award. At the same time, MTL conducted continuous financial education activities for over 900 participants in 2025, in line with the criteria for the Sustainability Award. In addition, MTL enhanced creative communication approaches by training more than 2,500 employees and developing the MTL Retirement Check tool, which enables the public to assess their retirement readiness independently—reflecting a modern, user-centric learning approach.

Achieving all three core award categories also led to Muang Thai Life Assurance receiving the highest honor, the “Financial Empowerment Award.” This prestigious recognition is presented to organizations that demonstrate outstanding, well-rounded contributions to advancing financial literacy nationwide and serve as exemplary models for the private sector in building a financially resilient Thai society.

On this occasion, Professor Dr. Pornanong Budsaratragoon, Secretary-General of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), presented the awards to MTL’s executives, including Mr. Sara Lamsam, Chief Executive Officer; Dr. Suthi Mokkhaves, President; and Ms. Umapan Charoenying, Executive Vice President, at Makawan Rangsan Hall, Royal Thai Army Club, Vibhavadi–Rangsit Road.
