MTL Creates Careers for People with Disabilities by Establishing “MTL Smile Contact Center” at Redemptorist Foundation for People with Disabilities, Chon Buri Province

Mr. Sara Lamsam, Chief Executive Officer of Muang Thai Life Assurance Public Company Limited; Rev. Sukhum Thanasingha, President of the Redemptorist Foundation for People with Disabilities; Rev. Kokiat Deesri, President of Ray Social Enterprise Company Limited; and other executives participated in the official opening ceremony of the ‘MTL Smile Contact Center, Muang Thai Life Assurance – Creating Careers for Thai People’ at the Redemptorist Foundation for People with Disabilities in Chon Buri province. This initiative aims to promote and enhance the vocational skills and capabilities of people with disabilities, enabling them to use their own potential to secure appropriate employment, support themselves and their families, live equitably within society, and achieve greater social success in all respects.

Furthermore, the Company has taken steps to support the work of people with disabilities by developing and providing work equipment, adapting workspaces for comfort and accessibility for personnel with disabilities, installing advanced telecommunication systems that connect to the Company’s main customer service system, and conducting essential training to provide workforce with disabilities the necessary knowledge, skills, and proficiency in their profession. This training enables them to effectively use modern tools to communicate with customers via telephone.

In addition, the Company has implemented activities to provide knowledge and prepare employees with disabilities, offering guidance and support in education, skill development, and working closely with individuals responsible for overseeing and fostering the work of each employee with disabilities. This effort aims to enable professional customer service provision in line with the Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Act and aligns with the Company’s sustainable development policy, which strives to reduce social inequality and build a fair and sustainable society.
