MTL: Carbon Footprint of Organization

Muang Thai Life Assurance Public Company Limited has been awarded with the certificate of the Carbon Footprint of Organization (CFO) from the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) for the first time. The Company is aware of the impacts arising from the risks associated with climate change issues and recognizes the importance of developing the "Carbon Footprint of Organization" (CFO) to demonstrate the amount of greenhouse gases emitted from activities, both directly and indirectly, within the organization. This is to raise awareness of the greenhouse gas emissions released by the organization and guide management towards effectively managing climate change. Additionally, it aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from the organization's operations efficiently, by reducing fuel consumption through the transition of company-owned vehicles and executive cars to 100% electric cars by 2030. This includes reducing electricity consumption, improving energy efficiency, increasing the proportion of energy use from renewable sources such as solar energy, implementing waste separation projects for recycling, and reducing the amount of waste sent to landfills. This is coupled with fostering employee awareness of resource utilization and environmental conservation, along with implementing measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, towards creating a low-carbon society and organization.
