Job Description
1. Oversee daily cash flows for investment, coordinating with internal units such as the Cashier Department and Accounting Department to monitor the Company’s liquidity status. Collaborate with the Fund Management Team to allocate cash into various financial instruments as approved by the Investment Committee.
2. Manage short-term investments (approved by the Investment Committee) with financial institutions in forms such as savings deposits, promissory notes, bills of exchange, treasury bills, certificates of deposit, and other money market instruments permitted by the Ministerial Notification for life insurance company investments.
3 Record collection-payment transaction and yield of investment in Hiport system, ensuring accuracy and alignment with the Accounting Department's daily records.
4. Record transactions for loan customer payments, installment payments, drawdown information, and fire insurance premiums. Ensure data accuracy and alignment with daily accounting records.
5. Prepare monthly investment summary reports detailing the type and value of investments, categorized by fund management type (private fund, equity fund, fixed income fund, and self-managed fund) for executive review and policy formulation.
6. Undergo training on the Hiport system to ensure proficient usage. Attend external meetings to stay updated on investment trends in the money and capital markets.
7. Calculate NAV and close financial statements on a daily, monthly, and yearly basis.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking, or related fields
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in fund accounting from an Asset Management Company
- Proficient use of Hiport software system
- Candidates with an Investment Planner Certificate will be given special consideration.
- Proficient in English reading, writing, speaking, and listening
- Competent with software programs, especially Microsoft Excel
- Strong negotiation skills and good human relations
