Q: What is the highlight of Kids Care? Why should I buy it?
A: It covers 15 common childhood critical illnesses. Once a critical illness is detected according to the definition specified in the policy, the insured receives a lump sum benefit immediately of 100% of the sum insured, up to 2,000,000 Baht (when purchasing the sum insured of 2,000,000 Baht).

A: The entry age is 30 days - 15 years (renewable until the age of 20 years), and coverage period is until the age of 21 years.

A: The premium of Kids Care is eligible for personal income tax deduction according to the Notification of the Director-General of the Revenue Department on Income Tax No. 383
Q: Does Kids Care need to be purchased to attach to a life insurance policy (base contract)?
A: Kids Care needs to be purchased to attach to a life insurance policy (base contract).
Q: Can Kids Care be attached to an existing insurance policy?
A : It can be attached to an existing policy according to the conditions. However, such insurance policy (base contract) must have minimum sum insured of 50,000 Baht. In this regard, it is subject to condition of minimum sum insured of each insurance plan. Moreover, coverage period from the application date must be more than 1 year.
Q: If a customer has claimed from one of the covered diseases in Kids Care, can he/she buy Kids Care again in the next year by excluding the coverage for the same disease previously claimed?
A: In case the claimed disease was tetanus, and it has been cured, the insurance application can be submitted for underwritting again. However, for other critical illnesses, the customer will not be able to purchase Kids Care again.

There are 6 clauses of the rider’s exclusions as follows: The Company shall not cover critical illnesses which are directly or indirectly, wholly or partly caused by any of the following causes.
1. Abnormalities confirmed by a physician and clearly proven to be related to the critical illnesses or the critical illnesses existing prior to the effective date of this rider or the reinstatement date or the date that the Company approves to increase the sum insured amount, whichever is the latest. In this regard, in case the Company approves to increase
the sum insured amount, the Company shall not cover the increasing sum insured amount only unless the insured informs the Company and the Company has accepted such risk without conditions to exclude such coverage
2. Suicide, self-inflicted injury or an attempt to do such act
3. Inhaling, eating, drinking or injecting toxic substance into one’s body, or by other means, either under a state of insanity or not
4. The insured refuses medical treatments, physician’s suggestions or guidance
5. Diagnosis and treatment that the insured as physician prescribed for himself/herself and those performed by physician who is the insured’s father, mother, spouse, or child
6. HIV Positive or AIDS infection the insured, either directly or indirectly: HIV or AIDS means Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome caused by AIDS virus and this also covers the opportunistic infection, or any other infections or illnesses, which the blood test shows positive HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus), the opportunistic infection includes, but not limited to, the Pneumocystis Carinii Pneumonia, Organism causing Chronic Enteritis, Disseminated Virus and/or Fungi Infection, Malignant Neoplasm. It also includes, but not limited to, Kaposi’s Sarcoma, Central Nervous System Lymphoma and/or any other critical illness known in modern medical that it is a condition of Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome or a cause for someone’s sudden death, illness or disability. AIDS includes HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) causing Encephalopathy Dementia
This rider does not cover critical illnesses or abnormalities confirmed by a physician and clearly proven to be related with the critical illnesses under coverage of this rider occurring within 90 days from the effective date of this rider, or
the latest date of renewal, or the date that the Company approves to increase the sum insured amount of this rider, whichever is the latest. In this regard, in case the Company approves to increase the sum insured amount, the Company shall not cover the increasing sum insured amount only.
