A: D Health Rider is suitable for everyone who would like to purchase health insurance with simple conditions, but high coverage such as those who do not have existing health benefits, but would like to purchase lump sum coverage for inpatient hospitalization, and those who have insufficient health benefits, and would like to upgrade the coverage amount. You can choose to pay premium on top of the existing coverage by not having to pay double premium. It is also suitable for children who want to purchase health insurance for their parents because its entry age is from 11-80 years old and coverage period is until the age of 99.

A: The rider has the 30-day waiting period after the effective date. It provides lump sum coverage for medical expenses in case of hospitalization of up to 5 MB(1) including standard single room, board and nursing service fees, ICU room fee for up to 60 days (up to 180 days when combined with daily benefit of room, board and nursing fees), doctor fee, medication fee, examination fee, and surgery fee which will be paid by actual amount.

A: D Health Rider has coverage plans with and without deductible option. It is based on the plan you choose.
It is the amount of medical expenses paid by the insured, other welfare or other policies (if any).
For example, you choose to apply for the plan with 30,000-Baht deductible.
Medical expenses and other expenses according to the coverage are 100,000 Baht.
You are required to pay for the first 30,000 Baht.
D Health Rider provides coverage for 70,000 Baht but not exceeding the limit of the chosen plan.
Q: Is D Health Rider eligible for tax deduction?
A: Yes, it is. The premium of this rider is eligible for personal income tax deduction according to the Notification of the Director-General of the Revenue Department on Income Tax No. 383.
