1. Focus on the good things every day: First of all, we need to understand the word “optimism” first. Optimism means seeing, feeling, or focusing on good things that happens around us. Optimism allows us to not focus on bad things that cause us to lose our temper. We may start from a small thing, such as thinking that the breakfast is so delicious, thinking that you are lucky that the train is not crowded or, on the way to the office, thinking that you are lucky to see a cute cat curling up under the tree. It might be a good idea to write down a short list to feel happy with small things happening around us all day long!

2. Brighten your mood and your brain: Our brain usually repeats things, for example when we are in a bad mood, we will feel that the day is such a tiring day which makes us feel even worse. So, we need to stop this burnout pattern. We may try to go out and find something delicious to eat, such as sipping some tea, taking a walk, or smiling more. It's a trick to make your brain brighter.

3. Look at the big picture of our lives: Bad events tend to pass by and end quickly. Therefore, we may try to consider or evaluate in what extent those events happening to us have change our lives or had an impact on ourselves and others. This way will allow us to see other angles of the events, and we might find that they are not as bad as we think.
Sometimes or in some events, it may not always be easy for us. However, if we try to practice, adjust ourselves or open your mind, you will know that it is certainly better to water the thoughts that benefit us.
