CCTV Privacy Policy
Muang Thai Life Assurance Public Company Limited (“Company”) recognizes the right to privacy and the Company's responsibility regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data of officers, workers, customers, employees, contractors, visitors, or any individuals (collectively referred to as “you” or “your”) entering the Areas within and around the office buildings used for the Company’s business operations/facilities/parking areas (“ Area”) for the purpose of protecting life, health, and property through the use of CCTV devices for monitoring and surveillance.
The Company upholds the value that the trust and confidence you have with the Company are one of the most important things for the Company. The Company is committed to correctly and properly processing and protecting your personal data. Hence, building your understanding regarding the approach and process of collecting, using, processing, and disclosing personal data is another important issue for the Company. Please thoroughly read and understand this Privacy Notice regarding the use of CCTV (“Notice”) as detailed below.
1. Personal Data Collected and Used by the Company
The types of personal data collected, used, and/or disclosed by the Company will depend on the purposes specified in this Notice. The Company will collect only the necessary personal data to comply with applicable laws which control and govern safety and environment in workplace and the Company’s property, to prevent or mitigate harm to life, body, or health of you or others, to serve the legitimate interests of the Company or other individuals, provided such interests do not override your fundamental rights to personal data, and/or to receive services or additional services from the Company only. The personal data collected includes the following:

b. Moving images
c. Sounds
2. Methods of Collecting Your Personal Date
The Company has installed CCTV devices in visible locations operating 24 hours a day, except in cases of system malfunctions or maintenance. Warning signs are placed to inform that the devices are in use at the entrance and exit, including the Areas that we deem appropriate as points that need to be monitored for collecting your personal data when you enter the Areas.
However, we shall not install CCTV devices in the locations that may unduly infringe upon your personal fundamental rights.
3. Purposes of Collecting and Using Personal Data
The Company collects your personal data for various purposes under the following legal bases:

4. Methods of Personal Data Protection
The personal data collected by the Company will be processed fairly and accurately in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act B. E. 2562 (2019). 5. Duration of Storing Personal Data
To achieve the purposes of monitoring and surveillance with CCTV devices as stated in this notice, we will store the CCTV data concerning you in order to achieve the purposes stated above. The CCTV footage will be kept for no longer than 1 year from the date you enter the Company's buildings or premises, unless the footage is specifically required to handle an incident or to take legal action. However, the Company may retain your personal data for a longer period if required by applicable law. After such period, we will erase and destruct your personal data.
6. Disclosure of Your Personal Data
The Company will keep CCTV data concerning you confidential, and will not disclose it unless it is necessary for the Company to achieve the purposes of monitoring and surveillance as specified in this Notice. The Company may disclose the CCTV data to the following types of individuals and juristic persons.
- Agencies with authorities and duties as required by law to support and assist in law enforcement or to investigate or proceed with any litigation.
- External service providers for the necessity to ensure the prevention or suppression of a danger to your or others’ life, body, or health.
- Data subjects, stakeholders, or individuals who are affected or have incurred damage from any incidents occurring within the Areas monitored and recorded by CCTV devices.
7. Your Rights Based on Personal Data Protection Law
You have the right, as a data subject, to access data relating to you, to be informed about the existence and the extent of data processing, to rectify incorrect personal data (whichever the case may be), to make use of your personal data’s portability and to oppose further processing on legitimate grounds. 8. Amendments to CCTV Privacy Notice
The Company reserves the right to amend this CCTV Privacy Notice at any time. In case of any changes or amendments to this Privacy Notice, the Company will update the new information on the Company's website.
Your entrance to the Areas is considered as an acknowledgement of this notice. However, please do not enter the Areas if you do not agree with the terms of this notice. If you continue to enter the Area after this notice is amended and announced through the above-mentioned channel, it will be considered that you have already acknowledged the changes.
