Scope
This policy covers all activities of Muang Thai Life Assurance Public Company Limited, including the head office, regional offices, and branches nationwide. It applies to all types of personnel, such as directors, executives, full-time employees, part-time employees, contract employees, life insurance agents, contractors, visitors, and any external parties working within the Company’s premises.
Implementation Guidelines
1. Compliance with Laws and International Standards: The Company shall conduct its safety, occupational health, and environmental management in compliance with all applicable laws, standards, and relevant requirements, with a commitment to preventing and reducing accidents as well as minimizing work-related illnesses.
2. Risk Assessment: The Company requires that the design of work processes and internal systems take into consideration safety and environmental factors to ensure that no harm is caused to employees, with appropriateness assessments, identification of risk levels and action plans to reduce risks with clear objectives, including emergency response procedures. It is verified that the established processes are properly followed, together with a continuous improvement process to ensure they remain up to date.
3. Risk Control: The Company establishes office-specific risk control measures and implements them strictly to prevent dangers by establishing and implementing office-specific risk control measures.
4. Emergency Situation Preparedness: The Company has established plans to handle emergency situations such as fire or other emergencies by conducting fire drills and evacuation drills, as well as providing first aid equipment and necessary medical supplies. The Company also maintains the workplace in good order according to the 5S principles, ensuring that there are no obstructions in evacuation routes to be fully prepared in the event of an emergency.
5. Training and Communication: The Company provides sufficient resources for safety, occupational health, and environmental training for employees at all levels, and organizes activities to continuously promote awareness and participation among employees.
6. Health and Hygiene Promotion: The Company supports activities that promote physical health, such as exercise, the establishment of sports clubs, and annual health check-ups.
7. Mental Health Promotion: The Company supports activities that promote mental health, such as mental health counseling, volunteer activities, staff housing welfare, and stress-relief activities for employees, as well as providing knowledge on hygiene such as nutrition, waste segregation, and reduction of carbon dioxide emissions.
8. Monitoring and Evaluation: The Company conducts regular assessments on safety, occupational health, and environmental matters. In the event of an accident or work-related illness, the cause must be investigated, problems analyzed, and preventive corrective actions taken. Reports must also be submitted to the relevant government authorities if the illness falls under the conditions specified by law.
This policy is effective throughout the entire organization, and all employees are required to strictly comply with it.
