The rain has come, everyone! This is a signal that Thailand has officially entered the rainy season across all areas, especially in the southern region where there may be heavy rainfall, leading to cool and moist weather with relatively high humidity. We hope everyone in the south will take extra care of your health to not get sick and end up without the strength to work, go fishing, tap rubber trees, tend to gardens, or go to the market. Today, Muang Thai Life Assurance has some preliminary weather information and diseases that southern people should be cautious of during this rainy season, to help you prepare and live safely in the midst of the rain.

The Andaman Coast and Gulf of Thailand: Beware! The rain continues.

The Andaman Coast and Gulf of Thailand: Beware! The rain continues.

With concern, southern people, please take good care of your health. From 29 June 2024 to 3 July 2023, there will be increased rainfall due to a strengthening monsoon, including heavy rain in some areas. The sea conditions in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand will be strong, with high waves offshore. Sailors and fishermen should exercise extra caution and avoid sailing in areas with thunderstorms during this period because the wind and waves might capsize boats. Also, avoid staying near large trees, billboards, and unstable structures that could collapse.
