Job Description

• Collaborate with business, service, and enterprise architects to understand the implications of respective architectures on information architecture and maximize the value of information across the organization
  
• Create and maintain current-state and target-state solution architectures  
  
• Lead and participate in the peer review and quality assurance of project architectural artifacts across EA group  
  
• Lead the design of solutions for large projects/ programs (especially engagement, core, data/AI)
  
• Ensure final solution build is aligned with designed solution architecture prior deployment
  
• Define solution architectures that align business requirements, enterprise architecture principles, and target technology strategy to deliver business outcomes.
  
• Design end-to-end technology solutions across applications, integration, data, infrastructure, and security to ensure scalability, maintainability, and interoperability.
  
• Translate business requirements into technical designs, evaluating solution options, trade-offs, and implementation approaches to balance cost, risk, and value.
  
• Ensure compliance with enterprise standards, architecture principles, security requirements, and regulatory obligations throughout solution delivery.
  
• Collaborate with enterprise architects, domain architects, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to govern solution implementation and resolve technical issues.
  
• Review and assure solution quality, ensuring delivered solutions meet functional, non-functional, and operational requirements.
  
• Identify technology risks, dependencies, and technical debt, recommending mitigation strategies and modernization opportunities throughout the solution lifecycle.
  
• Performs other related tasks which may be assigned from time to time.

Qualification

• Architecture experience: Experience designing end-to-end solutions across applications, integration, data, infrastructure, security, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  
• Legacy modernization and migration: Experience assessing and modernizing AS400, VMware, monolithic applications, and legacy middleware using approaches such as rehost, replatform, refactor, replace, retire, or retain.
  
• Technical expertise: Knowledge of APIs, middleware, databases, containers, Kubernetes, operating systems, networking, DevOps, CI/CD, and modern application technologies.
  
• Architecture and engineering skills: Strong capability in system analysis, solution design, technology evaluation, non-functional requirements, architecture modelling, and technical governance.
  
• Security and resilience: Understanding of identity and access management, data protection, high availability, disaster recovery, performance, and regulatory requirements.
  
• Business & interpersonal skills: Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, stakeholder management, problem-solving, negotiation, and time management skills.
  
• Delivery experience: Proven experience translating business requirements into end-to-end technical solutions and guiding implementation across cross-functional teams.
  

Required certificates: AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, AWS solution architect - Association, AWS solution architect - Professional, Azure Solutions Architect (Expert)
