Privacy Notice for Participants
of the Company's Activities

       Muang Thai Life Assurance Public Company Limited and its subsidiaries including companies or organizations that control, are controlled or are under control by the Company which may mostly have the same shareholders or directors (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) highly respect your privacy and are aware of the responsibilities in relation to collection, use, and disclosure of personal data of all participants in activities or training seminars (hereinafter referred to as "you") and/or delivery, transfer of your personal data to others.
       The Company greatly values your trust and confidence in the Company and is committed to processing and protecting your personal data accurately and appropriately. Therefore, it is also very important to the Company that you understand about methods and procedures for the collecting, use, processing and disclosure of personal data. You must carefully read and understand the Privacy Notice for Participants of the Company's Activities (“Notice”) as follows.



1. Personal Data Collection

       Types of personal data that the Company collects, uses, and/or discloses depends on purpose of your consent. In this regard, MTL aims to collect only personal data necessary for the purposes specified in this Notice. If you do not provide the personal data necessary for the Company’s operations, it may result in the Company being unable to proceed with the intended purposes of your transaction, or you may be unable to use the Company’s services. Examples of personal data that the Company may collect include:

       1.1 Information you may provide to the Company through surveys or registration forms for participating in activities or campaigns on social media, such as first and last name, contact information, telephone number, email address, employment details, occupational information, and vehicle details (in the event that you wish the Company to arrange parking), such as car make and license plate number, etc.
       1.2 Information regarding lifestyle and social circumstances, such as hobbies, preferred activities, and your interests.
       1.3Information regarding opinions, expectations, and satisfaction with participating in training sessions, seminars, site visits, or other activities, as well as your perception of the Company's operations.
       1.4 Video and audio recordings captured during seminars via electronic systems or other devices.
       1.5 Other personal data for necessary facilitation, such as flight details, shirt size, and dietary preferences or restrictions (food and beverages consumed).


2. Methods of Collecting Your Personal Data

       The Company will collect your personal data when you provide it through surveys or registration forms for events, training sessions, seminars, or other Company activities. If you choose not to provide the requested personal data, the Company may not be able to facilitate or permit your participation in such activities.
       In case you disclose personal data of other individuals to the Company, you hereby certify and guarantee an accuracy of such personal data. You also certify and guarantee that you have completely informed those parties of the details of this Notice.


3. Purposes of Collection and Use of Personal Data

       The Company uses the personal data you provide when entering into a contract with the Company in order to fulfill the purposes for which the data was provided and to enhance your overall experience with the Company. The Company processes your personal data for various purposes under the following legal bases:

- To arrange relevant insurance coverage associated with the organized activities, such as arranging group travel insurance (if applicable).

- To manage event registration, verify attendee headcount, maintain a registry and participation history of attendees, facilitate activities, and distribute souvenirs or prizes (if applicable).

- To evaluate, analyze, and improve training sessions, seminars, site visits, community relations activities, or other Company events, as well as to support applications for management system standard certifications.
- To serve as supporting evidence for responding to assessments from regulatory authorities, or for submitting applications for awards and corporate management competitions.

- Information regarding lifestyle and social circumstances, such as hobbies, preferred activities, or your interests

- To conduct public relations and promotional activities for the Company’s training sessions and seminars (including events held in an online or virtual format), which may involve the publication, dissemination, or live broadcasting of photographs, video and/or audio recordings through both internal and external communication channels, such as online media, the Company’s website, newspapers, or television, etc.

- To manage risk, monitor compliance, and audit operations, including internal audits by the Internal Audit Department, expense closure, and internal corporate management.

- To comply with laws concerning public interest in public health, such as protecting health against dangerous communicable diseases or epidemics that may spread or enter into the Kingdom.

- To contact you or present products in which you have expressed interest.

- To organize sales promotions, marketing campaigns, or social media activities, including selecting, announcing, contacting, verifying the identity of, and delivering prizes to winners of the Company's activities.

       Other purposes not specified above will be indicated separately when the Company requests your information or collects and uses it under legal or regulatory exceptions, including the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019). If the Company intends to use your personal data for purposes other than those stated in this Privacy Policy, or for purposes not directly related to this Privacy Policy, the Company will notify you. In cases where consent is required, the Company will seek your consent.


4. Methods of Personal Data Protection

       The personal data collected by the Company will be processed fairly and accurately in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act. The Company has implemented physical and electronic security measures to ensure compliance with the applicable regulatory standards for protecting your personal data. 5. Retention Period of Personal Data

       The Company may collect and use your personal data for the above purposes in accordance with the law. The retention period may vary depending on each activity. You may inquire about the data retention period from the event organizer or by contacting the DPO at [email protected].


6. Disclosure of Your Personal Data

       The Company has Personal Data security policy and procedures, and restrict access to your Personal Data whereby only those who need to use your Personal Data are allowed to access. However, your Personal Data may be disclosed to the following categories of persons and entities:

  • The Company will disclose your data to third-party service providers, such as information technology (IT) service providers, marketing and promotional service providers, and social media platforms that support the Company’s business operations. In the event that the Company discloses data to external service providers, strict control measures will be implemented to ensure appropriate data protection.
  • When entering into agreements with third parties or service contractors, the Company will establish appropriate personal data security and confidentiality measures to ensure that your Personal Data is safely protected.
  • For activities organized via Google Meet, data will be recorded through the Google Meet system and stored within MTL’s information technology systems.   • For activities organized via Lifesize, data will be recorded through the Lifesize system and stored within MTL’s information technology systems, whereby only authorized personnel will be permitted to access such recording files.   • For activities organized via Zoom, data will be recorded through the Zoom system and stored within MTL’s information technology systems, whereby only authorized personnel will be permitted to access such recording files.   • For activities organized via Facebook Live, data will be recorded through the Facebook system and stored within MTL’s information technology systems, whereby only authorized personnel will be permitted to access such recording files.   • For activities organized via social media where information is provided for prize entitlement verification, such data will be used solely for verifying the right to receive prizes and will be strictly restricted to internal use within the Company.
  • Any other person or external agency as necessary to fulfill and achieve the various purposes stated in this Notice.


       Your personal data may be transferred, transmitted, collected or processed by the Company or delivered to entity or others department as detailed above which may located inside/outside Thailand. However, the Company shall formulate standards of agreements and/or business contracts with agencies, organizations that will receive such personal data based on acceptable personal data protection standards and applicable laws in order to ensure security of your personal data.


7. Your Rights Based on Personal Data Protection Law

       You have the right, as a data subject, to access data relating to you, to be informed about the existence and the extent of data processing, to rectify incorrect personal data (whichever the case may be), to make use of your personal data’s portability and to oppose further processing on serious and legitimate grounds. 8. Amendments to the Privacy Policy

       The Company reserves the right to amend this Notice at any time.
